Soon Diagnose Your Illnesses In Search Results Tccicomputercoaching.Com
Google is going to start showing medical details
in search results that are related to illnesses.Starting with US users in the
"coming days", the Silicon Valley company will provide a number of
possible "related conditions" when a person searches for symptoms
they may be suffering.
"Health content on the web can be difficult
to navigate, and tends to lead people from mild symptoms to scary and unlikely
conditions, which can cause unnecessary anxiety and stress," the company said in
a blog post.
When a person searches for "headache on one
side" the results will show conditions such as headache, migraine,
tensions headache, cluster headache, sinusitis, and common cold. Google added: "For individual symptoms like “headache,” we’ll
also give you an overview description along with information on self-treatment
options and what might warrant a doctor’s visit."
Search results are intended for "information purposes
only" and a doctor should always be consulted before any medical action is
taken, Google stressed.
Google said that those conducting mobile searches in the US will
be the first to see the updated results. It also plans to roll the feature out
to more countries and different languages in the coming months but has not
given a timeframe as to when this may happen.
