JavaScript is a lightweight, cross-platform, single-threaded, interpreted compiled programming language. Also known as a website scripting language. It is known for developing web pages and is used in many environments other than browsers.
JavaScript is a weakly typed (dynamically typed)
language. JavaScript, which has become an important part of Web development, is
a powerful and flexible programming language. JavaScript is both an imperative
and a declarative language.
JavaScript includes a standard library of objects
such as arrays, dates, and mathematics, and a core set of language elements
such as operators, control structures, and statements.
Client side: Provides objects that control the
browser and its Document Object Model
(DOM).
For example, client-side extensions allow
applications to place elements on HTML forms and respond to user events such as
mouse clicks, form entries, and page navigation.
Libraries that are useful on the client side
include AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, and more. Server side: Provides objects
related to running JavaScript on the server. This is because server-side
extensions allow an application to communicate with a
database to ensure continuity of information from one call to the
application to another, or to perform file operations on the server.
