What’s App’s new 'Status' feature available to all

What’s App’s new 'Status' feature available to all

Popular mobile messaging service what’sapp’s new "Status" feature is now available to all users across the globe on iPhone, Android and Windows devices.
The "Status" feature, which draws inspiration from Snap chat Stories, lets users share photos, GIFs or videos.
One can also make drawings, place emoji’s and add a caption that will be visible to their friends for 24 hours. There is also a view counter for each of your status message that shows you how many people have watched at your status, which you can tap on to browse through the entire list of people who have watched the status.
The company claims these status updates are end-to-end encrypted. By default, these status messages can be viewed by your contacts, however the app provides an option to restrict these status messages to a select group of friends or select the people to whom the user doesn't want to share their status.
What’sApp has been rolling out updates and features to make the app more secure for its users. The social networking app recently rolled out a two-step verification process for all devices to enhance the security of users' accounts.
