Microsoft’s researchers may change devices’ screen forever

Still in current time, the ‘Pre-Touch’ sensing system utilizes a self-capacitive touch screen and a Smartphone’s ability to sense how a user is holding the device. It can also sense when and where a user’s fingers are hovering over there. These are the some problems in touch screen phones, Google and apple are trying to find out some solutions of this problem.
If you are not understanding, first you should know what’s this touch screen phone?
From Wikipedia, “A touch screen is an input device normally layered on the top of an electronic visual display of an information processing system. A user can give input or control the information processing system through simple or multi-touch gestures by touching the screen with a special stylus and/or one or more fingers. Some touch screens use ordinary or specially coated gloves to work while others use a special stylus/pen only. The user can use the touch screen to react to what is displayed and to control how it is displayed; for example, zooming to increase the text size.”
The popularity of smart phones, tablets, and many types of information appliances is driving the demand and acceptance of common touch screens for portable and functional electronics.
But recently Microsoft Research published a YouTube video that shows off its Pre-Touch Sensing for Mobile Interaction technology.
Microsoft Research's New Touchscreen can (Almost) Read Your Mind.
Microsoft Research published a video on its YouTube channel last month, demonstrating the 'Pre-Touch' sensing technology Still in prototype stages, the 'Pre-Touch' sensing system utilizes a self-capacitive touch screen and a Smartphone’s ability to sense how a user is holding the device It can also sense when and where a user's fingers are hovering over the touch screen, and adapt user interfaces accordingly in real-timeline Microsoft Research's new paper, "Pre-Touch Sensing for Mobile Interaction," Ken Hinckley (who previously invented a stylus that reads your mind) and his colleagues describe how this new type of Smartphone will work. It depends on a special kind of touch screen that can sense the electrical disruption caused by a finger approaching the glass, as well as pressure sensors around the edge of the device. We can also create cleaner web browsers, with hyperlinks and buttons for embedded multimedia content which shows the area of finger when required.
