What is the difference between HTML and CSS?

HTML and CSS are fundamental technologies in web development, each with a distinct role:

HTML (HyperText Markup Language)

- Function: Defines the structure and content of a webpage.

- Usage: Uses tags (e.g., `<h1>`, `<p>`, `<div>`) to organize text, images, links, and other elements.

- Purpose: Acts as the backbone of a webpage, determining what content appears and how it is organized.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)

- Function: Controls the appearance and layout of the content defined by HTML.

- Usage: Applies styles (e.g., colors, fonts, spacing) to HTML elements using selectors (e.g., `p`, `.class`, `#id`).

- Purpose: Enhances the visual presentation of a webpage, making it more attractive and user-friendly.

Key Difference:

- HTML is about what is on the page.

- CSS is about how it looks.
